Hyper-absorbent Evolon® microfilament fabric for washable incontinence pads
Evolon® microfilament textiles can absorb up to 400% of their own weight in liquid, distribute it evenly, and dry quickly. The fabric is also very soft and feels pleasant against the skin.
Since it can be washed at 95°C, it offers an extremely hygienic solution – making it an ideal material for incontinence pads. In addition, the microfilament fabric can be laminated or coated to provide waterproof mattress protection.

Advanced technology for outstanding performance
Evolon® fabrics are manufactured using a unique textile process invented by Freudenberg Performance Materials. Endless bi-component filaments are spun, uniformly laid on a belt, then simultaneously split into microfilaments and entangled using high pressure water jets to form the final fabric. No solvents or chemical binders are used in the process.
Evolon®’s high absorption capacity and excellent moisture management are due to the capillarity of microfilaments.

Evolon® fabric is certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 product class 1, with testing to the strictest requirements and limit values, safe enough for babies.
