Boys and girls
Boys and girls are full of energy and their clothes need to keep up with their every move. Our product range offers a wide range of solutions for all types of children’s garments, designed to meet these demands. The nonwoven interlinings provide an excellent price-performance ratio for most collars, cuffs, waistbands, and plackets.
Our innovative adhesive technologies can withstand washing and dyeing processes at temperatures up to 95°C. To reinforce critical areas that are prone to wear, our pilling-resistant woven bi-elastics and knits provide the necessary durability while remaining soft against the skin.
Newborns
Newborns need softness, comfort, and the highest level of safety in their garments. Freudenberg Performance Materials offers a wide variety of products certified to the OEKO TEX STANDARD 100, class 1, ensuring they are safe for newborns and free from chemicals. To protect newborns’ skin and prevent embroideries from scratching and irritating, we recommend covering the reverse side of embroideries with a patch of our soft knit fusible interlining.
As well as offering safe products for newborns, we also provide on-site training for your technical department – ensuring that interlinings used in newborn apparel are properly fused and cannot delaminate.
Embroidery
Embroideries, beading, and other stitched embellishments are often used to decorate kidswear. For optimal results, we recommend our embroidery backings, available in both cut away or tear away versions.
But embroideries can be scratchy when worn directly against the skin and may be damaged during washing. For protection, comfort and durability of embellishments, we recommend covering the reverse side with a patch of soft knit fusible interlining.
Free from harmful chemicals, all our products offer a high degree of safety. We also provide special on-site training for your technical department, ensuring that the interlinings used are perfectly bonded and resistant to delamination.
School uniforms
School uniforms for children are exposed to frequent washing and daily wear throughout the year. The right interlining from Freudenberg Performance Materials helps school shirts, blouses, jackets, trousers, and skirts stay clean, neat, and in proper shape.
We have developed an innovative adhesive technology that can withstand repeated washing at temperatures of up to 95°C without delamination. To keep collars, cuffs, and plackets of school shirts looking perfectly white, our specially developed range of woven fusible interlinings is highly durable, free from foreign fibers and fuses faster, preventing yellowing at high temperatures.
