Electrical insulation materials for effective heat dissipation

Polyester nonwovens for direct electrical insulation under high thermal stress

Nonwovens are ideal as direct insulation in electrical machines using trickle or dip resin methods. Our technical textiles boost energy efficiency and durability in motors, generators, and transformers. Their excellent saturability ensures effective heat dissipation and guarantees a long lifetime, even under high thermal stress.

Thanks to our in-depth expertise, we can tailor electrical insulation materials to customer-specific requirements.

Key Features

  • Excellent impregnability: ensures even resin absorption
  • Thermal stability, suitable for demanding electrical applications
  • High mechanical integrity: maintains strength under stress during use and processing
  • High uniformity for reliable insulation performance

Key Benefits

  • Compatible with numerous resins and varnishes
  • Excellent absorption capacity for high dielectric strength after impregnation and reduced drip losses
  • Can be punched and cut in multiple layers for efficient processing
  • Good impregnability therefore high mechanical hardening of the winding head

Nonwovens for phase separators and other types of direct insulation materials

Our nonwovens are used as customized punched parts in small motors of various sizes. Whether through trickling or dipping, all impregnation methods deliver perfect results. Manufactured using thermally bonded, drylaid technology, our nonwovens are available in weights ranging from 100 to 300 g/m² and a thickness range of 0.18 to 0.53 mm.
