Polyester nonwovens for flexible insulation materials
Flexible insulation materials are used for electrical insulation in motors or dry-type transformers. They consist of three-layers, with a polyester film at the core, providing electrical and mechanical protection. Our flexible nonwovens are ideally suited for this application. Integrated into this type of laminates, they contribute to effective impregnation, enhance the motor’s performance and protect the polyester film from mechanical damage.

Key Features
- Easy lamination
- Thermal stability
- High uniformity
- Adjustable porosity
- High smoothness
- Customized roll dimensions
- Customized products
Key Benefits
- Protect the film from mechanical damage
- Two-sided product:
1) A “rough” side for strong adhesion to the polyester film
2) A “smooth side” for easy processing and automatic insertion - Compatible with numerous resins and varnishes
Versatile applications in motors, generators, and transformers
Our nonwovens are suitable flexible insulation materials such as wedges, slot liners, and slot separators in motors and generators, as well as in other transformer components, thanks to the versatility of our thermally bonded drylaid technology.
Technology: thermally-bonded, drylaid nonwovens
Available weights: 15-60 g/m²
