From bottle to jacket: recycling at its best
Thanks to our unique manufacturing process, our comfortemp® paddings contain up to 100% GRS-certified recycled polyester sourced from post-consumer PET bottles. Freudenberg has integrated recycled PET into its insulation products since 1991.
Our recycling process for PET bottles includes multiple steps: shredding, cleaning, and processing them into high-quality pellets for use in recycled polyester fibers. This process is designed to optimize resources, including water usage, and has enabled us to become one of the leading PET recyclers in Europe.
