Experience Filtura® filter media for challenging industrial filtration applications at FSA 2026

For metal processing, manufacture and recycling of lithium-ion battery materials, and metal 3D printing

The PET-based filter media for industrial dust removal combine mechanical rigidity and pleat stability with high tear resistance. Depending on the application, additional functional options such as anti-static or flame-retardant treatments can also be integrated. The filter media are used, for example, in metal processing, the manufacture and recycling of lithium-ion battery materials, and metal 3D printing.

A customer comparison in the metal processing industry demonstrates the potential impact on operational efficiency: switching from a conventional cellulose blend filter media to a PET-based Filtura® filter media with an ePTFE membrane extended the intervals between the cleaning pulses. As a result, compressed air consumption decreased by approximately 20 percent. At the same time, filter cartridge service life was extended by up to three months.
